Frequently Asked Questions

Is NordQR an app?

NordQR is not a native app and therefore your customers will not need to go through the App Store or Play Store. The moment they scan your QR code, they will be redirected to a web page with your restaurant menu.

Can I use NordQR for free?

Of course! You can use NordQR absolutely free with the Basic plan. If you’d like to extend the limit of dishes and menus available or use additional features such as multi-language or reviews, you can upgrade to the Lite or Pro plans at any time.

Are there monthly and yearly billing options?

Yes! The annual billing option is about 20% cheaper than the monthly option for the Lite and Pro plans.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, of course. There is no minimum contract with NordQR. You can cancel at any time without penalty. When you cancel your paid plan, you stay on the plan until the end of your billing cycle, at which point you switch back to the free plan.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept most credit/debit cards (including Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay and Mada) and PayPal. If you cannot use your card, contact our team.

Can I change my payment method?

You can change your payment method at any time in your billing settings.

How is my payment being processed?

We use Stripe and Paddle to process all payments. It’s the same payment providers used by companies such as Twitter, Booking and Deliveroo. We do not handle your credit card information directly.

What happens after the 14 day free trial?

If you have 1 menu and less than 20 dishes, you can continue to use NordQR for free. You don't need to do anything, the Basic plan will begin automatically at the end of the 14 day free trial. Any dishes beyond the stated limit will be invisible to the public until you upgrade your plan.
