Create digital menus from Excel

From now on, you can create your digital menus faster and more efficiently by importing an Excel file. You just have to prepare your menu in Excel, upload the file, and our system will convert it into an advanced digital menu that you can customize to your liking.

Customizable QR codes

The latest update in NordQR brings important improvements related to QR codes. We have completely redesigned the QR Code section so that you can personalize and give a unique style to your restaurant's QR.
These are some of the options you will find:

  • Upper or lower frames with personalized text.
  • Logo inside the QR.
  • Customize the colors of all the elements (frame, QR and text).
  • Download the QR in three different formats: PDF, PNG and SVG
Remember that no matter how many changes you make, the URL of the QR will never change.

Custom URL

You can now customize the URL of your public NordQR page to make it more similar to the restaurant name.

This feature is currently only available for new accounts. We will soon enable it for all accounts.

Google reviews in your menus

You spoke, we listened. We know how important Google reviews are for your businesses and how useful it would be to see them on your menu. We’re thrilled to announce that starting today your NordQR menu can now be synced with your Google Business Profile.

Your customers will be able to:

  • See the Google reviews of your restaurant in the menu.
  • Write reviews on the menu that will be stored in the Google Business Profile of your establishment.

What does this mean for you:

  • More Google reviews from customers who view your menus.
  • Increase relevance in Google search results and stand out from the competition.

This Feature is only available for the Lite and Pro plans. If you do not have a Google Business Profile, you can create one for free on this page.‍

More visibility for reviews

With this design tweak, information related to ratings will have more visibility and presence (something very important for restaurants). From now on, customers will be able to see the average score as well as the number of views at a glance.

The rest of the information (location, map, wifi and social networks) will be accessible from another link located below the reviews.

Agility and Accessibility: NordQR's new updates for digital menus

To guarantee the speed, reliability and availability of the public menu, we have prepared some changes to our servers that will guarantee the following improvements:

  • Changes to the menus will be updated in the user's browser without the need to reload the page.
  • All information on the menus and Translations will be loaded when you scan the QR for the first time. Once loaded, the client will be able to navigate between the menus instantly regardless of their connection speed and even if they do not have one.
  • The menus will be hosted on a static server that further guarantees their availability (so far NordQR has had an uptime of 99.84%), in addition to improving loading speed by using the h3 protocol and being distributed globally in more than 600 locations.

Different font sizes on printed menus

From now on you will be able to select up to 5 font sizes in your printed menus: Small, very small, normal (default), large and very large.
Very useful to further customize the properties of your menus.

Social networks in the public menu

Show your customers the social networks of your restaurant. Go to the Settings section to add Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Show your restaurant's address on a map

From the Basic Information section of your account Settings, you can now add the map with the address of your local. To do so, simply enter the address and then drag the map to the desired position.
